"Because I Can't" Flyers

For a Conceptual Art & Theory project, we were tasked with making a personal piece exploring concepts such as the body, identity, etc. I decided to work with my own struggles with mental health and body image issues and make a public street art piece around this concept. I created five different “flyers,” each asking a question to the viewer. Along with the question is a monstrous figure, both metaphorically representing me, the artist asking the question, and representing the question itself. Multiple copies of each flyer were then hung around town, one variant per night for five nights in a row.

Tarot Cards

Project done for a set of tarot cards done by the students of Louisiana Tech University’s Graphic Design student body. I chose to go with a mix of art nouveau, art deco, and horror as my visual themes, and illustrated/designed three of the major arcana - The Fool, The Lovers, and The Star, along with a card back to match.
